RSI Action (the national charity representing RSI conditions) invites you to its 8th Annual General Meeting in London on Saturday 25th April in Room 3B, third floor, University of London Union building (ULU), Malet Street, London, WC1E 7HU. Free registration is from 12:30, the AGM will start at 13:00, tea and coffee will be provided during registration. Sandwiches and other refreshments can be purchased at the shop on the ground floor, to the left of the reception area. There is a lift to the third floor, to the left of the main staircase.
The main speaker this year is Tonia Cope Bowley, who has published the book “RSI How to avoid it, and what to do if you’ve got it”. Tonia like most of our members fell victim of RSI through lack of awareness and pressure of work. After several years of assorted therapies, specialists and information gathering, Tonia has established a balanced lifestyle, and used her RSI experience to write her book to help others.
Matthew Lowther has also agreed to talk at the AGM. Matthew had a very debilitating RSI condition caused by intense computing in the workplace. Matthew has tried a number of different treatments, including Richmond Stace (physiotherapist www.specialistpainphysio.com/) who spoke at our AGM in November 2011. Matthew will talk to us about how the treatment from Richmond Stace has helped him.
