RSI Action AGM Saturday 1st October

You are warmly invited to the 9th Annual General Meeting of RSI Action, in London on Saturday 1st October from 12:30 to 16:30, in Room 3B (third floor) at Student Central, Malet Street, London, WC1E 7HU.  Student Central used to be University of London Union (ULU).

Registration is from 12:30, the AGM will start at 13:00, tea and coffee will be provided during registration. Sandwiches and other refreshments can be purchased at the shop on the ground floor, to the left of the reception area.  There is a lift to the third floor, to the left of the main staircase.

The meeting will include a presentation and discussion on PREMUS 2016 (Conference on Prevention of Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders) which was held in Toronto in June.  PREMUS is organised every 3 years by the musculoskeletal technical committee of ICOH (International Commission on Occupational Health).  RSI Action funded Jack Crawley to attend PREMUS this year and represent us.  Jack found the conference fascinating and will share his experience with us.

We have also met with Heidi Allen MP who is a member of the DWP Select Committee.  She has raised our concerns over work-related upper limb injuries with the minister.  We will update you on these discussions and planned meetings with the HSE.

I hope that you will come to the AGM and contribute your ideas and views.  If you think you can help finding new trustees and would like further information contact me (tel or email) for further information.
